Dr. Y. Aruna Kumari earned her M.D. in Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy from the esteemed S.V. Medical College in Tirupati.
With 22 years of extensive experience in Dermatology, Trichology, Cosmetic Dermatology, and Laser treatments, she currently serves as a Consultant Dermatologist at Aster Prime Hospital in Ameerpet, Hyderabad, which boasts advanced infrastructure and technology.
Her two decades of experience with laser applications have made her proficient in various laser technologies pertinent to Dermatology. She specializes in Laser Hair Removal (LHR) and Microneedling Radiofrequency (MNRF) for acne scars, Q-Switched Nd:YAG lasers for tattoo removal, and laser toning for pigmentation issues. Prof.
Dr. Y. Aruna Kumari is recognized for her expertise in treating acne, acne scars, pigmentation disorders, hair loss, pediatric dermatology, and skin rejuvenation following chemotherapy or radiation therapy. She is among the few dermatologists with specialized training and experience in non-surgical skin tightening techniques such as High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU).
Additionally, she is skilled in both basic and advanced applications of Botox and dermal fillers. Her comprehensive knowledge, empathetic demeanor, and holistic approach to patient care distinguish her in the field.
Previously, she held the position of Head of Department and Professor of Dermatology at Viswabharathi Medical College in Kurnool.
