Dr. S. Nasreen Banu is a seasoned Neonatologist based in Hyderabad, boasting 13 years of experience in her field. She is affiliated with Ankura Hospital for Women & Children located in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Dr. S. Nasreen Banu earned her MBBS degree from S V Medical College in Tirupati in 2004, followed by an MD in Pediatrics from Niloufer Hospital/Osmania Medical College in 2008. In 2017, she completed a Fellowship in Neonatology accredited by the RCPCH at University Hospital, Southampton, UK.
She is an active member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP) and the National Neonatology Forum (NNF). Her clinical services include care for preterm infants, particularly those born extremely preterm, as well as the administration of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), conventional and high-frequency ventilation, and management of newborns with persistent pulmonary hypertension (PPHN).
Dr. S. Nasreen Banu has a particular interest in the intact survival of tiny premature infants, neurodevelopmental follow-up for premature babies, and whole-body cooling treatment following perinatal asphyxia.
