Dr. Raghuveer Reddy Dudipala comes from a distinguished lineage of medical professionals and completed his foundational medical education and postgraduate studies in Pune, Maharashtra. He possesses both a Fellowship and a Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery and Robotic Surgery.
Additionally, he has earned the Gyan Burman Fellowship in Hepato-biliary and Pancreatic Surgery from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi. Dr. Dudipala holds an M.Ch in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi.
He has received specialized training in ear reconstruction under Dr. Satoru Nagata at the Nagata Ear and Plastic Surgery Clinic in Saitama, Japan.
He is part of the surgical team that accomplished the first three bilateral hand transplantations in India and contributed to the first tracheal transplantation in the country, which was the second of its kind globally.
Dr. Raghuveer Reddy Dudipala has authored numerous publications on various aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery in both national and international journals. Notably, he developed an innovative objective grading system for ear reconstruction, the first of its kind worldwide, which was featured in the Indian Journal of Plastic Surgery.
He has also worked on enhancing the Thiel embalming technique to better prepare cadavers for medical education in tropical climates. His extensive research on adipose-derived stem cell-enriched fat grafts and the impact of external volume expansion on these grafts earned him the best research award from the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India, with findings published in the Indian Journal of Plastic Surgery.
