Dr. Raghava Dutt Mulukala serves as the Chief of Spine Surgery and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Udai Omni Hospital Orthopaedic Centre, a position he has held since 1993. He is also an Additional Professor of Orthopaedics at SVS Medical College in Mehaboobnagar.
His previous experience includes working as a Locum Orthopaedic Consultant at Walton & Fazakerley Hospitals in the UK from April 1992 to March 1993, and as a Registrar in Orthopaedics at Walton & Fazakerley Hospital in January 1992. He has held various registrar positions, including at the Webb/Morley Spine Unit within the John Angel Orthopaedic Unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, and at Bromfield & Black, Notely Hospital in the UK from August 1989 to July 1990.
Additionally, he was a Registrar in Orthopaedics at Princess Alexandra Hospital from August 1988 to July 1989 and served as a Senior House Officer in Orthopaedics at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital from February 1989 to July 1989.
Earlier in his career, he worked as an Assistant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Udai Clinic Orthopaedic Centre from 1985 to 1987 and has been a visiting faculty member at Osmania University’s Bio-Medical Engineering Department since 2012. He is also recognized as an International Faculty member for AO Spine International since 2012.
Dr. Raghava Dutt Mulukala areas of expertise encompass all facets of Spine Surgery, including both anterior and posterior surgical approaches for spinal infections, management of vertebral and spinal cord tumors, vertebroplasty for osteoporotic fractures and tumors, endoscopic microdiscectomy for lumbar disc prolapse, correction of scoliosis and kyphosis, spondylolisthesis, minimal access spine surgery, and post-polio deformity treatment.
