Dr. Navya is an alumnus of Govt Chengalpattu Medical College Hospital, where she achieved honors in multiple subjects and earned a gold medal in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed her MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and her senior residency at the esteemed PGIMER in Chandigarh, India.
During her training, she developed a keen interest in fetal medicine, which led her to pursue a fellowship in the field under the renowned Dr. Anita Kaul at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi. Dr. Navya is certified by the Fetal Medicine Foundation in London (FMF-UK) in various aspects of fetal medicine, including first-trimester screening, anomaly screening, fetal Dopplers, fetal neurosonography, fetal echocardiography, and several invasive procedures such as chorionic villus sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, intrauterine transfusions, and fetal endoscopic procedures.
Following her certification, she served as a consultant in Maternal and Fetal Medicine at QRG Hospital in Faridabad. She subsequently held consultant positions at Meenakshi Medical College in Kanchipuram, Birthplace Hospital in Hyderabad, and Pranaam Hospital in Hyderabad, all within the same specialty.
Dr. Navya’s long-term objectives include raising public awareness about maternal and fetal medicine, emphasizing the significance of early diagnosis and management of congenital defects, preeclampsia, and multiple pregnancies. She is also dedicated to training young physicians in fetal medicine interventions and is committed to continuously enhancing her medical expertise.
