Dr. Nandakishore Dukkipati (M.D., DABS, FASMBS) serves as the Managing Director of LivLife Hospitals, recognized as an International Centre of Excellence for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and has completed fellowships in Advanced Laparoscopic & Bariatric Surgery as well as Gastrointestinal & Endocrine Surgery.
Dr. Nandakishore Dukkipati is a trailblazer and a respected authority in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery, known for his innovative contributions that have transformed the field. His dedication has enabled him to assist countless individuals, elevating the standards of Bariatric Surgery at LivLife Hospitals.
Dr. Nandakishore Dukkipati began his medical career by earning his MBBS from the esteemed J.S.S. Medical College, part of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute.
His relentless pursuit of knowledge led him to the United States, where he completed his residency in General Surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, affiliated with Cornell University in New York. He further distinguished himself by obtaining a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy and Bariatric Surgery from the University of Texas, Southwestern Dallas, becoming the first Indian to achieve this honor.
Additionally, he made history as the first surgeon in Kentucky to perform a single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS – Cholecystectomy) and was recognized as the first South Indian to receive the title of “International Surgeon of Excellence.”
