Dr. Karthikeyan B.V graduated from KVG Dental College Sullia in 2000, where he excelled and received the ‘Devakiamma Memorial Award’. He ranked 14th in PGCET 2002 and completed his Masters Degree in Periodontics from Govt. Dental College, Bangalore in 2006, ranking 5th in the MDS university examination. He further pursued Diplomate in National Board (DNB) in 2007 and Post Graduate Certificate in Implantology (P.G.C.O.I) in September 2012. Currently, he serves as a professor at Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences, guiding postgraduate students. With 19 International publications, he is the 1st Indian author to publish a review paper in a journal of Periodontology. Dr. Karthikeyan has presented at national & international Scientific conferences, winning the best paper award in ISP 2008 conference. He is actively involved in various research works and serves on the editorial board of several International and National journals. He is also an official speaker of Colgate Palmolive India Ltd and an associate editor for the international journal of periodontic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Karthikeyan’s dedication to continuing dental education is evident through his lectures and workshops at both state and National levels. In recognition of his service to mankind, he was awarded the Rajya Puraskar by the governor of Karnataka.
