Dr. Shantipriya Reddy obtained her BDS and MDS degrees in 1990 from AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore. She further pursued her Masters in the field of periodontics from MR Ambedkar Dental College, Bengaluru in 1995. With a rich experience of 19 years, she has served as a Faculty and postgraduate teacher. Currently, she holds the position of Professor and Head of the Department of Periodontics at Dr. Shyamala Reddy Dental College, Hospital, and Research Center in Bangalore.
In addition to her academic involvement, Dr. Shantipriya Reddy has made significant contributions to the field of dentistry. She has an impressive portfolio of national and international publications and has delivered lectures at various conferences on Periodontology and Implantology. As a Consultant Periodontist & Implantologist at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, she specializes in Laser Assisted Surgeries, Dental Implants, Regenerative Medicine, and Perio Aesthetics.
Dr. Shantipriya Reddy’s achievements and accreditations are noteworthy. She has completed a Fellowship in Implant Dentistry and serves as a reviewer for the “Journal of Indian Society of Periodontology” and the “Indian Journal of Dentistry.” She actively participates in various Dental Awareness Programs and has authored several textbooks in the field of Periodontology. Moreover, she has published over 50 articles in national and international journals, solidifying her expertise in the field.
