Dr. K. Naga Murali is a graduate of Guntur Medical College, a prestigious medical institution, where he also completed his postgraduate studies in General Medicine. He began his career as an Assistant Professor at Katuri Medical College, where he taught medical students while serving as a Consultant Physician for four years.
Subsequently, he took on the role of Senior Resident in the Department of Cardiology at Usha Mullapudi Cardiac Centre in Hyderabad, where he worked for two years. In 2012, he joined the Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, earning a DM degree in Cardiology and gaining extensive experience in both teaching and interventional cardiology until 2016.
He has also served as a teaching faculty member and interventional cardiologist at PSIMS in Vijayawada. Currently, he is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Srikara Hospitals in Miyapur and also practices at Dr. Murali Heart Care in Miyapur. Dr. K. Naga Murali possesses significant expertise as a physician, educator, and interventional cardiologist, with extensive experience in high-risk complex interventional procedures. His skills include primary PCI with thrombus aspiration for thrombus-laden lesions, PCI in myocardial infarction with cardiogenic shock, and PCI during CPR with IABP and ventilatory support in acute myocardial infarction with cardiac arrest.
He is proficient in performing PCI for left main coronary artery lesions, chronic total occlusions, and bifurcation lesions, utilizing both femoral and radial approaches, with a strong emphasis on radial interventions.
Additionally, he conducts non-coronary interventions such as percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) of carotid and renal arteries, as well as peripheral vessels including iliofemoral and upper limb vessels. His expertise also extends to valvular interventions, pacemaker implantation, IVC filter placement, and interventional procedures for peripheral and pulmonary thromboembolic disorders.
