Dr. Maithri is a distinguished psychiatrist, having earned a gold medal in her MD and excelling in three subjects during her MBBS.
She initially pursued a career in critical care before transitioning to MD Psychiatry in Guntur.
Dr. Maithri completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and has also undertaken an online certificate course in Addiction Psychiatry from NIMHANS. She has participated in numerous certificate courses and workshops focused on neuromodulation and is a vital member of the Karla Neuromodulation Team.
Additionally, she is affiliated with the Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences. Dr. Maithri has presented various papers and posters at multiple conferences.
Her primary interests and areas of expertise include the use of ketamine in treating depression, neuromodulation, ADHD comorbidity in substance use disorders, cognitive functions in substance use disorders, and peripartum psychiatry.
