Dr. G Harsha Vardhan Reddy has been serving as a Consultant Medical Gastroenterologist at KIMS Hospitals, located on Minister Road in Secunderabad, Hyderabad, since 2022. Throughout his extensive career, he has been associated with several esteemed institutions and organizations across India.
He began his medical journey as an Internist at the Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences in Bellary, Karnataka, in 2010. His professional experience includes roles at KIMS Hubli and the renowned Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, where he completed his DM in Medical Gastroenterology.
Following his DM, Dr. Harsha Vardhan further honed his skills in the Gastroenterology department, focusing on advanced endoscopic techniques such as Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and Endoscopic Ultrasound. His profound knowledge in Gastroenterology is supported by a strong academic foundation.
He graduated as the best outgoing student with a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2010 from the Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary, under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. He achieved an 18th rank in the entrance examination, which led him to pursue an MD in Internal Medicine at the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, completing it in 2015.
In 2017, he secured the 97th percentile in the NEET super-specialty entrance exam, allowing him to enroll in the DM program specializing in Gastroenterology at Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, which he completed in 2020. In addition to his medical practice, he is an active member of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology and the Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India.
