Dr. Shivaram is recognized as one of the top GI and Bariatric surgeons in the nation, with numerous groundbreaking works and publications to his name. His proficiency in Laparoscopic surgery, pancreatic surgery, Gastrointestinal surgery, and bariatric/metabolic surgery has positively impacted a significant number of patients, both nationally and internationally. In addition to achieving the title of University Gold medallist in masters of surgery examinations, he has been honored with multiple awards. Dr. Shivaram has a background in the Army Medical Corps and has received training from prestigious institutions in India, as well as in the UK, USA, and Germany. He is affiliated with various national and international professional organizations and has previously held the position of president of the city chapter of the association of surgery India. As a National Board accredited teacher and post-graduate examiner, he also serves as an examiner for international MRCS exams.
