Dr. Sethukrishna is a distinguished expert in Ano-rectal surgeries conducted through Ayurvedic methods, particularly known for his use of Kshara Sutra techniques. His proficiency encompasses Ayurvedic surgery and para-surgery, marma chikitsa, management of sports injuries, and the acute treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, all approached through a multi-specialty lens within Ayurveda.
Currently, he serves as a visiting Consultant at Dhanwanthralaya Ayurveda Speciality Hospital and holds the position of Joint Director at the AVP Research Foundation in Coimbatore. Dr. Sethukrishna completed his BAMS degree at The Venkatramana Ayurveda College, affiliated with TN MGR Medical University, and later obtained a master’s degree in Shalya Tantra (Surgery) from SDM College of Ayurveda & Hospital in Hassan, which is part of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
In addition to his roles at AVP Research Foundation and Dhanwanthralaya, he is a Consultant Surgeon at NG Hospital in Coimbatore and the founder of Sethu Ayurveda Speciality Hospital, demonstrating his commitment to delivering comprehensive healthcare services.
Furthermore, Dr. Sethukrishna is the Joint Secretary South at the National Susrutha Association of Faculty of Ayurveda at Banaras Hindu University, highlighting his active participation and leadership in advancing Ayurvedic education and practices nationally. With a solid foundation in Ayurvedic surgery and a variety of professional responsibilities, Dr. Sethukrishna is a key figure in the field, making significant contributions to both clinical practice and academic pursuits in Ayurveda.
