Dr. Durgatosh Pandey is a Senior Consultant in GI, HPB & Thoracic, Head GI & HPB and Surgical Oncology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket in New Delhi. He holds an MBBS, MS(Surgery), DNB(Surgery), MCh(Surgical Oncology) and is specialized in Surgical Oncology. Dr. Pandey has an extensive background, having worked as an Assistant Professor (Surgical Oncology) and In-charge of Thoracic & Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary service at Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital, AIIMS, New Delhi, as well as an Assistant Professor (Surgical Oncology) at Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, and a Specialist Senior Registrar (GI Surgical Oncology) at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He has also completed a Surgical Fellowship in Hepatobiliary Surgery & Liver Transplantation in Singapore and a Visiting Fellowship in Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) & Robotic Thoracic Surgery in the USA. Additionally, Dr. Pandey is a founder member of the Lung Cancer Consortium Asia, a founder member of the Esophageal cancer consortium, a trustee member of ICON (Indian Co-operative Oncology Network), an external examiner for M.Ch (Surgical Oncology) examination at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and a member of the ICMR Task Force on “Review of Guidelines for Management of Lung Cancer”.
