Dr. Harit Chaturvedi embarked on his oncology journey at the renowned Cancer Institute, Adyar (Chennai). With a remarkable track record, Dr. Chaturvedi has not only conducted surgeries at live surgical workshops but has also been a strong advocate for cancer awareness and a staunch opponent of tobacco for the past 15 years, working closely with various cancer foundations. His clinical and surgical expertise has earned him immense respect within the medical community.
Currently, Dr. Chaturvedi leads a team of 80 oncologists at Max Healthcare, overseeing 7 major super specialty centers as well as standalone centers across Delhi NCR and North India. His primary focus lies in delivering high-quality care through innovative initiatives such as virtual Tumor boards and the development of sub-specialties across the Max centers. Driven by a strong commitment to people, processes, and systems, he plays a pivotal role in ensuring clinical quality, recruiting top-notch clinicians, and shaping the long-term vision and strategy of the group. Notably, he is set to assume the role of President-elect of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncologists and has previously served as the President of the Indian Society of Oncology.
Before joining Max Healthcare, Dr. Chaturvedi had affiliations with prestigious institutions such as Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, New Delhi (2004-09), Apollo Hospital, New Delhi (2000-04), and Batra Hospital, New Delhi (1995-99). Apart from his professional pursuits, he is an avid reader and cherishes spending quality time with his family during his leisure hours.
