Dr. Prasanna earned her MBBS from Raja Rajeshwari Medical College in Bangalore, followed by a DLO from the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences in Hubli, and a DNB from Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune. With six years of experience in the field of ENT, she has received training under Dr. D.S. Deenadayal.
Her professional interests encompass Rhinology, Skull Base Surgery, Otology, Head and Neck Surgeries, Radiofrequency Surgeries, and Coblation-Assisted Surgeries.
In 2016, Dr. Prasanna presented a paper titled “Parapharyngeal Tumors – Our Approach” at the Maharashtra State ENT Conference, MENTCON 2016. She also took part in Quaestio ENT 2015 at PSGIMSR in Tamil Nadu, Chennai.
Additionally, she attended the Otology 2017 and 2015 temporal bone dissection courses at Bharathi Vidyapeeth Hospital in Pune. Her contributions include presenting a paper at the 10th AOI South Zone Conference and the 32nd Karnataka State Conference of the Association of OtoRhinolaryngologists of India in October 2014.
Dr. Prasanna participated in the “Endoscopic Ear Surgery – A Live Surgical Workshop” in 2014 at SDUMC Kolar and attended a workshop on head and neck oncology at the Karnataka Cancer Therapy & Research Institute (Dr. R B Patil Hospital) in Navanagar, Hubli, in 2013.
Furthermore, she engaged in a workshop on functional endoscopic sinus surgeries at JIPMER in Pondicherry in 2014. She is a dedicated member of the Association of Otorhinolaryngologists of India and Telangana.
