Dr. Ajay Kumar Paruchuri completed his postgraduate studies at Sardar Patel University, where he was recognized as the best outgoing postgraduate in Orthopedics.
He then joined the Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences as a Senior Registrar, working alongside PadmaShri Prof. L. Narendranath and Dr. V. Surya Prakash Rao. During his time there, he handled complex trauma cases and assisted in various joint-preserving and replacement surgeries.
He also collaborated with Prof. V.B.N Prasad, the Head of the Orthopedic Department, assisting in numerous hip and knee reconstructive surgeries. Dr. Paruchuri has extensive experience with the Ilizarov Ring Fixture for deformity correction and limb lengthening.
As a Junior Consultant under Dr. J.C. Pingle at Apollo Hospital, he performed a range of joint replacement and arthroscopy procedures. During his fellowship in the United Kingdom with Prof. Carlos Wigderowitz, a renowned upper limb reconstructive surgeon, he assisted in various surgical procedures.
Dr. Ajay Kumar Paruchuri prioritizes patient education and understanding their issues before proceeding with treatment. He has successfully performed approximately 2,000 joint replacement and arthroscopic reconstructive surgeries and specializes in micro endoscopic discectomies.
