Dr. A.K. Purohit has held the position of Professor and Head at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) in Hyderabad, India, from 1988 to 2017. He has been a practicing neurosurgeon since 1985, accumulating 35 years of experience in the field.
His medical journey began in 1974 when he entered medical school, completing his degree in 1970 and subsequently earning his MS in General Surgery in 1983 from RNT Medical College in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Notably, he has not received any training or degrees from institutions abroad.
