Dr. Vishal Murkute is a distinguished Medical Graduate from the esteemed Mahatma Gandhi Mission Medical College in Mumbai. He is a highly qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon, having completed Fellowship training with a focus on Joint Replacement and Arthroscopy.
With 13 years of extensive experience in Orthopaedics, Dr. Vishal Murkute has served in some of the busiest Orthopaedic departments across India. He obtained his DNB in Orthopaedics from the renowned Soundarapandian Bone and Joint Hospital and Research Center in Chennai, a leading institution in South India.
His Fellowship in Joint Replacements was completed at the prestigious Shalby Hospital in Ahmedabad, recognized as one of the highest-performing centers for Joint Replacement surgeries in India and globally. Additionally, he has engaged in research in emerging fields.
Dr. Vishal Murkute received his training in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine in Mumbai under the internationally acclaimed Dr. Nicholas Antao. He has also contributed to the education of many students during his tenure at YCM Hospital in PCMC. To date, he has successfully performed numerous Joint Replacement surgeries, including those of the Knee, Hip, and Shoulder, as well as Arthroscopic procedures such as Ligament and Cartilage Reconstructions, Deformity Corrections, and Complex Trauma surgeries. His primary interest lies in Knee surgeries.
Dr. Vishal Murkute is a Life Member of both the Indian Orthopaedic Association and the Pune Orthopaedic Society. He is affiliated with several prominent hospitals in Pune, including the Sahyadri Group of Specialty Hospitals, Medipoint Hospital, Columbia Asia Hospital, Imax Hospital, Nobel Hospital, and Inamdar Hospital. His clinic is located at Medipoint Hospital in Chandan Nagar-Kharadi.
