Dr. Vinayak Ghanate earned his medical degree from B J Medical College & Sassoon General Hospital in Pune in 2006. He pursued his post-graduate training in Orthopaedics, obtaining a Diploma in Orthopaedics from Mysore Medical College in 2012, followed by a DNB in Orthopaedics from P D Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai, awarded by the National Board of Examinations in New Delhi in 2014.
In 2016, he completed a Fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune. In 2017, he furthered his training in the UK through the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh’s training initiative. He began his career in the UK at Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend before moving to Kettering General Hospital in 2019, where he participated in a Non-training Orthopaedic Specialist Registrar Rotation under the University of Leicester.
In 2021, he achieved the FRCS in Trauma & Orthopaedics from the esteemed Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Throughout his five years in the UK, Dr. Ghanate received comprehensive training in various areas, including Trauma, Arthroscopy, Joint Replacement, and Complex Revision Surgeries, with a particular focus on Bone Infection.
