Dr. Vidyadhara S. boasts over 15 years of post-qualification experience and currently holds the position of HOD & Consultant Spine Surgeon at Manipal Hospitals in Bangalore. With an impressive track record of performing around 600 procedures annually, he has successfully completed over 6000 spinal surgeries to date. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his academic achievements, winning more than 30 national & international awards and publishing over 35 articles in indexed journals.
Dr. Vidyadhara S. has gained valuable experience by working in renowned centers of excellence in spine surgery worldwide. Notably, he received the ISCA Young Scientist Award from former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in 2006, the Lester Lowe SICOT Award in 2007, and the ISSLS Best Research Award in 2010. In 2012, he was privileged to be the third Indian recipient of the prestigious SRS Traveling Fellowship, allowing him to visit top centers for Spine Surgery in the USA. Furthermore, he is the fifth Indian and the first from Karnataka to be granted the active fellowship of the Scoliosis Research Society of the USA.
