Dr. Venkatakarthikeyan Chokkalingam earned his medical degree from Thanjavur Medical College and completed his postgraduate training in Otolaryngology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India. He was honored with the Kamani Charity Trust prize for being the top postgraduate student in Otorhinolaryngology and obtained the Diplomate of the National Board for Otorhinolaryngology from the National Board of Examinations.

Following three years as a clinical fellow and one year as a research fellow focusing on inner ear and cochlear implant studies, Dr. Venkatakarthikeyan Chokkalingam served as faculty for seven years, ultimately achieving the position of Associate Professor in ENT at AIIMS. During his tenure, he participated as a visiting fellow in transoral laser surgery at Southampton General Hospital in the United Kingdom and worked as a Specialist ENT surgeon in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dr. Venkatakarthikeyan Chokkalingam subsequently joined the Neurotology and Skull Base fellowship program at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He is currently a Consultant in ENT-Head & Neck, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai.
