Dr. Sushil Sharma is a highly experienced Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement surgeon with a remarkable 25-year career in various national and international hospitals. His expertise lies in Primary, Primary Complex, and Revision Hip & Knee joint replacement surgeries, with impressive results. Additionally, he performs elbow and shoulder replacement surgeries. Dr. Sharma has actively participated in numerous national and international seminars and conferences, where he has presented his work on osteoporosis, Arthritis, and Joint replacement. He is also the author of the book “Defeat Osteoporosis”.
As the chairman of the Arthritis Foundation of India trust, a non-profit NGO, Dr. Sharma has made significant contributions to public awareness and scientific advancements in the field of bone and joint health. His dedication and achievements have been recognized through prestigious awards, including the Roche GSK Award in Istanbul, Turkey (2005) and the Linda Edwards Memorial Award in Beijing, China (2009).
Currently, Dr. Sharma serves as a Senior Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon at Kailash Super Specialty Hospital in Noida and R. K. Orthopaedic Hospital in Patparganj, Delhi. He is also a courtesy Senior Consultant at Tirath Ram Shah Hospital in Civil lines, although he does not hold OPD’s there. Dr. Sharma is a life member of esteemed organizations such as the Indian Orthopaedic Association, Indian Arthoplasty Association, Indian Medical Council, and the International Osteoporosis Foundation.
