Dr. Sumit Kumar Gupta is currently practicing at Psychiatry Clinic in Pitampura. His clinic hours are from Monday to Saturday, 9am-1pm and 5-8pm. Dr. Gupta has received his medical training from top-ranked institutes in India. He completed his MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences and associated Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, and his MD in Psychiatry from Maulana Azad Medical College and associated Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital (now renamed as GIPMER). With 17 years of clinical experience in Psychiatry, Dr. Sumit has served in various capacities such as Senior Resident, Consultant, and Assistant Professor at the NABH accredited, apex Behavioural and Neurosciences Institute of Delhi – Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences for over 8 years. He was also associated with Max-Pitampura as a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist from 2017 to 2020.

Dr. Sumit Kumar Gupta has authored and presented numerous research papers in national and international journals and conferences. He has also contributed chapters to medical books and his research has been cited internationally. Apart from his professional work, Dr. Sumit has a keen interest in community service and has actively participated in various community awareness programs at public places and schools. He has also used mass media platforms such as television news channels, radio, and newspapers to dispel myths surrounding behavioral disorders and promote rational views. His dedication and services have been appreciated by IHBAS on Doctor’s Day in 2017, as well as recognized multiple times by NGOs and Medical Societies for his social and humanitarian contributions.
