Dr. Sumanta Chatterjee is a committed and diligent young Interventional Cardiologist based in Kolkata. He completed his medical training at Medical College, Kolkata, where he was awarded Gold Medals for his exceptional achievements in both the MBBS and MD (Medicine) programs, and he excelled in the DM
(Cardiology) superspeciality degree examination, ranking first in his class. Currently, he performs radial route angiography and angioplasty, with a particular focus on primary angioplasty, at AMRI Hospital in Dhakuria, where he is available around the clock.
Dr. Sumanta Chatterjee is proficient in FFR, OCT, and IVUS-guided angioplasties, as well as complex coronary procedures and bifurcation lesions, utilizing advanced technology.
He is also skilled in the implantation of pacemakers, ICDs, and CRT devices. Additionally, he has a strong interest in managing the cardio-diabetes segment and in preventive cardiology.
