Dr. Suman Lata graduated from AIIMS and completed her DM Nephrology course in 2009. In 2011, she was recognized as an ISN scholar by the International Society of Nephrology. Dr. Lata pursued a fellowship in renal transplant at St George’s Hospital in London. She played a key role in establishing the nephrology department at her institute and initiated the renal transplant program with the assistance of renal transplant surgeon
Dr. Suman Lata excelled in the ISN-ANIO nephropathology course in 2013 and is now a certified nephropathologist by ISN. Her primary interests lie in renal transplant and acute kidney injury in liver disease. Dr. Lata actively engages in public education programs and organizes free camps annually on World Kidney Day to raise awareness about kidney diseases.
