Dr. Srinivas Chilukuri is an alumnus of the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune and holds a postgraduate degree in Radiation Oncology from the Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai. He currently serves as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Yashoda Cancer Institute. Dr. Srinivas Chilukuri has played a pivotal role in the development of Image-Guided Radiotherapy, RapidArc (Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy), and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) programs within the Department of Radiation Oncology at Yashoda Cancer Institute in Hyderabad. He has authored and presented numerous papers at international conferences. His expertise extends to brachytherapy for gynecological cancers, as well as head and neck, breast, and soft tissue tumors.
Dr. Srinivas Chilukuri is passionate about education and serves as the academic coordinator for four DNB students and four research fellows in the Department of Radiation Oncology. He is also actively involved in the professional development of radiation oncologists and physicists, having conducted several international workshops that offer hands-on training. Currently, he is a faculty member at the Varian IMRT/RapidArc school. His training includes exposure to advanced techniques such as stereotactic radiotherapy at VU University Medical Centre and Image-Guided Radiotherapy/IMRT under the auspices of ESTRO in Brussels and Vienna, from esteemed European institutions.
Dr. Srinivas Chilukuri is a member of various professional organizations, including the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), and the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO). His specialties include IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, Head and Neck Oncology, Neuro-Oncology, Breast Cancer, Thoracic Oncology, and Professional Education.
