Dr. Somnath Mitra holds an M.B.B.S and M.D (General Medicine) degree from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, Orissa. He has also received specialized training in Diabetology. With over two decades of experience in the field of Internal Medicine, Dr. Somnath has worked in various large Superspeciality, tertiary care, and teaching hospitals in India. His expertise lies in Diabetes, Hypertension, and Thyroid related problems. Currently, he serves as a Consultant – Int.Medicine at Manipal Hospital, where he has been dedicatedly working for the past 11 years. Dr. Somnath is a prolific researcher and has contributed to numerous scientific articles published in both international and national journals. Additionally, he has presented papers in national conferences, further showcasing his commitment to advancing medical knowledge.
