Dr. Sham Sunder, a renowned figure in the field of Nephrology, completed his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, MD in General Medicine from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, and DM in Nephrology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He has actively participated in numerous Nephrology conferences and is a member of esteemed nephrological societies such as the Society of Nephrology, Indian Society of Nephrology, International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis, and Association of Physician of India. With around 40 publications in International & National Journals and contributions to medical textbooks, Dr. Sham Sunder has over 20 years of teaching experience for postgraduate students and 12 years of post-doctoral teaching experience. Having worked as a specialist in prestigious hospitals like AIIMS, RML Hospital, Safdarjung Hospital, DDU Hospital, and LNJP Hospital, New Delhi, he currently serves as a senior consultant and HOU (Nephrology) at Batra Hospital. Dr. Sham Sunder also operates his own clinic, Kidney Care Clinic, in Safdarjung Development Area, New Delhi. With a specialization in treating various kidney diseases, he excels in dialysis, haemodialysis, continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis, C.R.R.T, plasmapheresis, and kidney transplantation. His expertise extends to managing cases of blood pressure, diabetes, and hypertension. Dr. Sham Sunder played a pivotal role in establishing the Nephrology and Kidney Transplant Department at PGIMER & RML Hospital, New Delhi, and initiated the DM Nephrology course in these institutions.
