Dr. Satish Chhabra began his tenure as a Senior Lecturer in Nephrology at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana in July 1980. By 1991, he had been promoted to the position of Professor of Nephrology. For eleven years, he dedicated himself to teaching and clinical practice at the medical college. In 1992, he made the decision to leave Dayanand Medical College and relocate to Delhi. The following year, in 1993, he established the first Dialysis unit in East Delhi, contributing to the advancement of Nephrology in the region alongside the East Delhi Indian Medical Association (EDIMA) and East Delhi Physician Association (EDPA). Dr. Chhabra played a key role in setting up the initial dialysis units in the area. In 2005, he joined Max Patparganj, where he founded the Nephrology Department and initiated Transplant services in 2010. Presently, he is actively leading both units of Max Hospital (Patparganj & Vaishali) and is deeply involved in providing comprehensive Renal Care.
