Dr. Reetadyuti Mukhopadhyay is a committed sports and arthroscopic surgeon with expertise in shoulder instability, Bankart lesions, SLAP repairs, rotator cuff repairs, total reverse shoulder arthroplasty, knee ligament reconstruction, and meniscus surgeries. He has a particular focus on shoulder arthroscopic procedures. Dr. Mukhopadhyay earned his MBBS from MAMC, Delhi in 2009 and completed his MS at PGIMS, Rohtak in 2014, where he was a gold medalist under the mentorship of Prof. SS Sangwan and Prof. N.K. Magu.
He subsequently obtained his DNB in 2015. Following his senior residency at PGIMS, Rohtak, he trained in sports injuries and arthroscopy at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, under the guidance of Prof. A. Imhoff in 2015. Upon returning to India, he collaborated with Dr. Nishith Shah, a distinguished arthroscopic surgeon in Ahmedabad. In 2016, he completed a six-month fellowship in sports injuries and arthroscopic surgeries at Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong, under Dr. Yau WP, Peter.
Dr. Reetadyuti Mukhopadhyay is passionate about academics and research, with numerous publications in international journals. He has actively participated in various national and international conferences, delivering presentations. He is a member of several professional societies, including the Indian Arthroscopy Society, ISAKOS, APKASS, ISKSAA, and IOA. He is dedicated to alleviating suffering and promoting health and an active lifestyle through sports.
