Following his postgraduate studies, Dr. Ravinder Pal Singh pursued a superspecialization in HPB & GI Surgery, earning an MCh (Master of Gastroenterology Surgery) from GB Pant PGI MER, Delhi, India. He’s expertise extends to liver and kidney transplant programs. He has been an integral part of two of the world’s largest liver transplant programs and two of the world’s largest living related liver transplant programs. Furthermore, he has played a significant role in establishing liver transplant programs at three medical institutes in India. With over 850 patients, he possesses extensive experience in living related liver transplants.
Another area of Dr. Singh’s specialization is gall bladder cancer and its surgeries. He has proposed a new classification, nomenclature, staging, and treatment strategies for this condition, showcasing his innovative approach to patient care.
Currently, Dr. Ravinder Pal Singh serves as the Director and Head of the Department of Liver and Multivisceral Transplant & GastroScience. Under his leadership, the department has successfully established liver and kidney transplant programs, as well as a dedicated Gastro Sciences department.
