Dr. Ravi Prakash Y is an Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon with over 11 years of experience in Orthopedics. He specializes in Joint Replacement surgery of the Hip and Knee, having received training in Renowned National and International Centers of excellence. Dr. Ravi Prakash Y graduated with an MBBS and MS in Orthopedic Surgery from high volume Govt Medical institutes. He underwent further Specialty training in Joint Replacement Surgery, completing a One Year Fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, India. He then pursued training in Advanced techniques in Joint Replacement Surgery, Navigation, and Computer Assisted Surgeries in Germany. Additionally, he was honored with the Prestigious SICOT Fellowship in Arthroplasty and Revision Arthroplasty in Italy. Dr. Ravi Prakash Y’s Special Interest lies in Joint Related issues, particularly Knee and Hip diseases or injuries. He served as the Organizing Secretary for Conferences and CMEs such as OACON 2015, OACON 2017 (Osteo Arthritis Conference), and Live Surgery Workshops in March 2017. He is an active Member of numerous National and International Orthopaedic Associations and has presented scientific research at various National and International conferences. Dr. Ravi Prakash Y has received several awards, including the Best Paper Award at BOS meet 2018 and the Best Poster Award at the National Congress of Hip & Knee Surgeons Society (ISHKS – April 2019). He is passionate about teaching and has been involved in Basic Arthroplasty Courses and Saw Bone Workshops for Postgraduate students and Young Orthopedic surgeons.
