Dr. Rajesh Upadhyay has an extensive background in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, having served as the Director & Head of the Department at Max Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi. He also held the position of Chairman & HOD at the Department of Gastroenterology/Hepatology at Jaipur Golden Hospital in New Delhi for over 15 years. Dr. Upadhyay is currently the Director of the Indian Confederation for Health Care Accreditation (ICHA), a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring patient safety and quality healthcare services.
He has also served as the President of the Association of Physicians of India (API) from 2015-2016 and as an International advisor for the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons in Glasgow, UK. Dr. Upadhyay completed his medical education at Patna Medical College and pursued further training in the UK, obtaining his MRCP degree.
He specialized in Gastroenterology and Hepatology through his work at renowned institutions such as Kings College Hospital in London and Royal Infirmary in Glasgow. He has also received accolades from organizations like the Delhi Medical Association, IJCP, and API for his Excellence Awards in Gastroenterology. Additionally, Dr. Upadhyay has been honored with the Outstanding Reviewer Award from the Journal of the Association of Physicians of India (JAPI) for his contributions to the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
