Dr. Radha S Rao graduated with an MBBS from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, where she ranked 3rd in Bangalore University. She received the Outgoing Medical Student award from KIIMS, Bangalore. Dr. Radha S Rao completed her postgraduate training at Vani Vilas Hospital, Bowring & Lady Bowring, and Curzon Hospitals in Bangalore, earning an MS in Obs & Gyn from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. During her higher specialist training in the UK, she gained experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, Gynae Oncology, Maternal Medicine, and urogynecology.
Dr. Radha S Rao is certified in ALS, NBLS, ALSO, and MOET. She advocates for normal vaginal delivery, doula-assisted delivery, and patient-centered care. Dr. Rao promotes sustainable menstruation options and utilizes world-class techniques in managing menstrual disorders. She specializes in women’s health, including pregnancy, infertility, adolescent health, menopause care, urogynaecology, cancer care, and fetal medicine. Dr. Radha S Rao served as a consultant obstetrician and gynecologist at Cloudnine Hospital, Jayanagar, for 6 years and is currently a senior consultant at Apollo Cradle Hospital, Jayanagar, Bangalore. Additionally, she established Janani Clinic, a specialist women’s clinic in J P Nagar, Bangalore.
