Dr. R C Arya is a seasoned medical professional with over 35 years of experience in the field. He has been affiliated with Max Hospital in Saket and Gurgaon for more than ten years, where he currently serves as a Senior Consultant. Dr. Arya earned his MBBS from the esteemed Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi and completed his MS in Orthopaedics at Lady Hardinge Medical College, also in Delhi. He further enhanced his skills by obtaining a Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery in Australia.
His specialties include joint surgeries for the knee, shoulder, and ankle, hand reconstructive surgeries, management of back and neck pain, and treatment of sports injuries. Dr. R C Arya has successfully performed over 3,000 arthroscopic procedures on knee and shoulder joints. He is an active member of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery & Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, as well as the Indian Arthroscopy Society. Previously, he held positions as a Senior Resident (Registrar) in Orthopaedics at Lady Hardinge Medical College, served as a Research Officer under an ICMR project at AIIMS in New Delhi, and worked as a Lecturer in Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Surgeon at the National Institute for Orthopedically Handicapped in Calcutta.
