Dr. (Prof) Sadhana Kala, MS, FIAMS, FACS (USA), FICOG, MAAGL (USA – in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery), serves as the Chief Emeritus at Moolchand Medcity, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. She is currently a Senior Consultant Gynecologist, Laparoscopic Surgeon, Infertility Specialist, and Pregnancy Specialist at Apollo Cradle Royalé Hospital, New Delhi. Additionally, she is a Visiting Consultant at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi. Dr. Kala received specialized training in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery under Prof Kenneth Hatch at the University of Arizona, Tucson, USA. She is a pioneer in laparoscopic gynecological surgery and has served as the president of the Society of Pelvic Surgeons. Furthermore, she underwent robotic surgery training at North Shore University and Hospitals in New York, USA. Dr. Kala also received training in infertility and reproductive health at Uppsala University in Sweden. As a Senior Consultant Emeritus to the army, Navy, and air force, she also consults for AI, AAI, IAAI, NDTV, BHEL, ONGC, and various other organizations. Dr. Kala excelled academically, being a university topper and the recipient of numerous Gold and Silver medals, certificates of honor, and the rare ‘Distinction’ in medicine during her MBBS and MS studies.
