Dr (Prof) Raju Vaishya is a renowned expert in the field of Total Joint Replacement & Arthroscopic Surgery of the joints. He completed his medical graduation and post graduation from GR Medical College, Gwalior, and pursued his advanced training in the United Kingdom. His expertise in Orthopaedics encompasses the treatment of various forms of arthritis, osteoporosis, sports injuries, and complex fractures and dislocations. Dr Vaishya is a pioneer in India for utilizing Patient Specific Instrumentation (PSI) in knee replacements. Additionally, he has a keen interest in Cartilage regeneration & restoration techniques such as Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation.
Dr Vaishya is highly regarded for his academic contributions in the field of Orthopaedics, with numerous publications and presentations worldwide. For the past 15 years, he has successfully conducted a fellowship training program for Orthopaedic Surgeons at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi. Over 200 Orthopaedic Surgeons from India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Africa, and Iraq have benefited from his training. Recognized for his academic achievements, Dr Vaishya has received multiple awards and honors. He also serves as the president of the Arthritis Care Foundation.
