He currently practices at Virinchi Hospitals located in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Throughout his career, he has served as a consultant nephrologist at several esteemed institutions in Hyderabad, including the Asian Institute of Nephrology & Urology (AINU), Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG), Sai Vani Super Speciality Hospital, National Institute of Gastroenterology, Deccan College of Medical Sciences, Princess Esra Hospital, Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital and Research Center, Princess Durru Shehvar Hospital, Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre, and Ozone Hospitals. Dr. Praveen Kumar Etta earned his MBBS from Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal in 2007, followed by an MD in General Medicine from Osmania Medical College, a leading medical institution in South India, in 2011. He completed his DM in Nephrology at the renowned Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow in 2015. That same year, he began his role as Assistant Professor of Nephrology at the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Puducherry, where he played a key role in establishing the deceased-donor renal transplantation program and was involved in the first cadaver kidney transplantation at PIMS.
