Dr. Prashant is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a distinguished background. He earned his M.B.B.S.
from Burdwan Medical College and subsequently completed his postgraduate degree in ophthalmology (MS in Ophthalmology).
Following this, he pursued an extensive fellowship at Sankara Nethralaya, part of the Medical Research Foundation in Chennai.

After finishing his fellowship, he served as a consultant at Sankara Nethralaya for five years.
Dr. Prashant specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of complex cases involving cataracts, glaucoma, and anterior segment surgeries.

He is a highly skilled cataract surgeon, having performed over 10,000 eye surgeries, and is adept at conducting all types of cataract procedures under topical anesthesia, ensuring a completely painless experience without the need for injections.
Additionally, he is experienced in managing intricate glaucoma cases, including all forms of glaucoma surgeries, pediatric glaucoma, and the use of glaucoma drainage devices.
