Dr. Pranav Thusay is a distinguished plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in Pune. He earned his initial medical degree from M. I. M. E. R Medical College in Pune. Following this, he completed his specialty training in General Surgery at one of Mumbai’s top hospitals, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Pranav Thusay then advanced his education with super-specialty training in Plastic Surgery (M. Ch) at the esteemed Sardar Vallabhai Patel Institute and Medical College in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Under the mentorship of experienced professionals, he gained comprehensive training in various aspects of general plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery.
Notably, he was the first resident to receive an intra-residency fellowship in Microsurgery/Nerve and Hand Surgery at the University of Bern, Switzerland. He further enhanced his skills in advanced aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery in Brussels, Belgium, under the mentorship of Dr. Moustapha Hamdii, a pioneer in the field.
