Dr Poonam Sidana is a highly skilled Neonatologist & Paediatrician based in Delhi-NCR, with extensive international training. She specializes in the care of premature and extremely low birth weight (ELBW) babies. Dr Sidana played a pivotal role in establishing the Level III NICU facility at Max Hospital Pitampura and Shalimar Bagh.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Sidana is actively involved in academia. She oversees the Neonatology Fellowship (NNF) programme, which provides training for both doctors and nurses. She is also a national trainer for the ANRP and BNRP programmes.
Dr Sidana’s expertise is widely recognized, and she has contributed to numerous national and international publications with her authored articles.
With over 30 years of experience, Dr Poonam has worked with renowned hospitals both in India and abroad. She spent over 15 years at Max Healthcare (Delhi) and also gained valuable experience at the Women and Children’s Hospital in South Australia.
