Dr. Pooja Mehta serves as the Director and Unit Head of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department at Marengo Asia Hospitals, located in Sector-56, Gurgaon. With 18 years of extensive experience in her specialty, she has completed a Diploma in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy from the esteemed Kiel School of Gynaecological Endoscopy in Germany. Dr. Mehta specializes in gynaecological laparoscopic surgeries, having successfully performed numerous complex procedures, including total laparoscopic hysterectomies, laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomies, laparoscopic ovarian cystectomies, fertility-enhancing laparoscopic surgeries, laparoscopic myomectomies, and operative hysteroscopic surgeries. Additionally, she is a high-risk obstetrician with significant expertise in managing challenging pregnancy cases, such as recurrent abortions, pregnancy-induced hypertension, gestational diabetes mellitus, previous cesarean sections, and placenta previa.
Dr. Pooja Mehta is also a distinguished infertility specialist, having received her training at the renowned Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi, where she has achieved a high success rate in treating infertile couples. Practicing in Gurgaon for over a decade, she has effectively handled various complex gynaecological and obstetric cases, including referrals from across Haryana. Previously, she held the position of Senior Consultant at Paras Hospitals in Sector 43, Gurgaon, for seven years (2011-2018) and has also been affiliated with Maharaja Agarsen Medical College in Agroha and Balaji Hospital in Hissar, Haryana.
Dr. Pooja Mehta earned her MBBS from ACPM Medical College in Dulhe, Maharashtra, in 1999, followed by a DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology from the prestigious St. Stephen’s Hospital in Delhi in 2004. She is an active member of several medical associations, including the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Delhi (AOGD), the Indian Fertility Society (IFS), the Federation of Gynaecologists & Obstetricians of India (FOGSI), and the Gurgaon Obstetricians and Gynecologists Society (GOGS).
