Dr. P R Chockalingam is a distinguished dentist practicing in Velachery, known for his patient-centered approach that consistently brings joy to those he treats. He specializes in Pediatric Dentistry and serves as the Chief Dental Surgeon at SRISHTI in Chennai. A University Gold Medallist during his undergraduate studies, he also excelled as the top student in his postgraduate program. Previously, he held the position of Assistant Professor at the Tamil Nadu Government Dental College in Chennai.
Dr. P R Chockalingam is the author of three notable books aimed at raising awareness about pediatric dentistry among the public: “Kulandaikalukana Pal Pathugappu” (Tamil) published by Nalam Publication in 2010, “Health Teeth – Healthy Children” in 2012, and “ILLUSTRATED Pediatric Dentistry,” published by the esteemed Lippincott Williams & Wilkins in 2013, which is recommended as an undergraduate textbook in various dental colleges.
Dr. P R Chockalingam has also contributed to five international publications and seven national publications and has presented over 30 seminars at national and state-level events. With more than 15 years of experience in pediatric dental care and evidence-based adult dental practice, he founded SRISHTI in July 2007. His interests encompass Pediatric Orthodontics, psychological behavior management of children, care for special needs children, and full mouth rehabilitation.
