Dr. Neha Goel graduated with an MBBS and completed her post-graduation in MS Ophthalmology at the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi. She then pursued three years of senior residency to specialize in vitreoretina. Dr. Goel is a Diplomate of the National Board of Examinations (DNB) and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Glasgow, UK. She currently serves as the co-founder, director, and senior consultant vitreo-retina at Tetravue Superspeciality Eye Centre in Bali Nagar, New Delhi. Additionally, she works as a senior consultant in vitreo-retina and uvea at Max Multi-speciality Center in Panchsheel Park, New Delhi. With over 12 years of clinical and surgical experience, Dr. Goel has been a consultant at ICARE Eye Hospital and Postgraduate Institute in NOIDA for 7 years. Her areas of expertise include diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, myopia, retinal detachment, and macular holes. Dr. Goel has a strong academic background with more than 100 publications in various journals, 633 citations, an h-index of 12, and an i10 index of 15. She has presented over 100 papers at state-level, national, and international conferences and has received several awards, such as the “Young Researcher’s (PG) Award” for thesis from AIOS, the Dr. A.C. Agarwal trophy from DOS, and the Dr. H. S. Trehan trophy from DOS. Dr. Goel has also been involved as a principal or co-investigator in over 10 multicentric clinical trials in the field of vitreoretina. She is a co-author of the book “Clinical Trials in Ophthalmology” and has contributed to several chapters in other books.
