Dr. Neela Desai is a highly esteemed senior Gynecologist and Obstetrician who has been serving the Pune community for 40 years. She received a Medal of Excellence upon completing her MS degree in Gynecology and Obstetrics. Following her graduation, she worked as a research associate on a World Health Organization project at the Institute of Research in Reproduction in Mumbai. In 1977, Dr. Neela Desai moved to the UK after securing full registration with the General Medical Council.
She earned her DRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists in 1979. Since 1997, she has specialized in gynecological endoscopic surgeries and has participated in numerous workshops and symposia, including those organized by the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopy (AAGL). Additionally, she completed an advanced training course in endoscopic surgery at Tagesklinik in Hamburg, Germany.
