Dr. N. Ragavan – Urologist, UroOncologist & Robotic Surgeon
Dr. N Ragavan, an alumnus of PGI Chandigarh specializing in General Surgery, has established himself as a Consultant Urologist and UroOncologist in the UK. He completed his fellowship in Germany under the guidance of Prof. Stolzenburg. With over 15 years of experience in UroOncology, he possesses significant expertise in open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgical techniques for treating prostate, bladder, kidney, penile, and testicular cancers.
Notably, he was the first in South India to introduce innovative robotic procedures, including Extraperitoneal radical prostatectomy, Total Intracorporeal nephroureterectomy, RPLND, Cystectomy with ileal conduit, Boari flap, and Culp pyeloplasty, among others. As a dedicated academician, researcher, and educator, Dr. N Ragavan leads training programs in UroOncology, mentors Urology trainees, and has authored 30 publications in international journals. He is actively involved as a member and faculty in various national and international urology and Urooncology societies.
