Dr. N. Praveen Kumar, originally from Bangalore, India, has an impressive medical background. After completing his graduation, he pursued his M.D. in General Medicine from Sri Devaraj URS Medical College in Kolar, Karnataka, India in 2009. Following this, he gained valuable experience working in the cardiology department at Columbia Asia in Bangalore. Dr. Kumar further enhanced his expertise by completing a fellowship in noninvasive cardiology at Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital, also located in Bangalore.
With his extensive knowledge and experience, Dr. Kumar began working as a consultant cardiologist at BMJH after his post-graduation. Currently, he holds the position of assistant professor at Sridevi Medical College in Tumkur. In 2013, he established Samiksha Heart And Diabetic Care, a facility dedicated to providing cardiac services in Yelahanka, Bangalore. Additionally, Dr. Kumar serves as a visiting cardiologist for major hospitals in and around Yelahanka.
Dr. Praveen’s clinical interests lie in preventive cardiology, lipid disorders, and cardiac imaging. He is renowned for his ability to diagnose both common and rare, complex cardiac disorders. Furthermore, he has obtained certified degrees in diabetology and advanced hypertension management, showcasing his commitment to comprehensive patient care.
