Dr. Monica Mahajan completed her M.B.B.S and Diplomate National Board (D.N.B.) Medicine from Government Medical College, Patiala (Punjab) in 1992. She pursued her postgraduation from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi and was associated with the hospital until 2001. She then joined Max Healthcare, Delhi, where she currently serves as a senior consultant in Internal Medicine. Dr. Mahajan’s areas of interest include infectious diseases, adult immunisation, preventive medicine, and lifestyle-related disorders. She manages patients in OPD, Inpatient, and ICU setups. Dr. Mahajan has actively contributed to academics and has numerous publications in international books, journals, periodicals, and leading newspapers. She is also an expert for major news channels including Doctors@NDTV.com and is in charge of the teaching program for the Medicine department at Max, Saket. Additionally, Dr. Mahajan is empaneled with International S.O.S, Asia Rescue and Medical Services (ARMS) Kolkata, French Embassy, United Nations, and European Commission. She believes that Medicine is both a science and an art and emphasizes the importance of treating each patient with care and empathy.
