Dr. M S Vidyasagar completed his medical education at Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad and earned his MD in Radiotherapy from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal in 1980. He then took on the role of Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology. After 11 years of dedicated service as the Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Kasturba Medical College, a leading Cancer Institute catering to the South West Coast of India, including Kerala, Karnataka, and Goa, he retired. During his tenure, he was instrumental in delivering advanced cancer care and training postgraduate students in Oncology.
Following his retirement, Dr. M S Vidyasagar has been practicing as a Consulting Oncologist at Hi Tech Hospital in Udupi. His primary interests in Oncology include patient counseling regarding treatment options and coordinating palliative care. He has also pursued extensive training abroad through Fellowships in the UK and the US. Now based in Chennai, he aims to continue offering impartial and high-quality advice on cancer care to his patients.
